February 27, 2010—Before teams of local designers got to work transforming a Georgian-style country house in Chevy Chase into this year’s DC Design House, they gathered for Bare-bones Day on February 27. Visitors had a chance to preview the home in its pre-makeover condition and also to glimpse the designers’ plans for their finished spaces. 

Now complete, DC Design House is open for tours from April 10 to May 9. Admission is $20. Proceeds benefit Children’s National Medical Center.
The home is located at 3911 Bradley Lane, Chevy Chase, Maryland.
