Principals Wayne Adams, Melanie Giordano, Ellen Hatton and Michael Patrick, along with founders Anthony “Ankie” Barnes and Stephen Vanze, oversee a talented staff of architects and designers who create homes that reflect their owners’ tastes and values, while responding to the unique characteristics of the properties on which they’re built.

These include the prestigious John Russell Pope Award for an addition to a home Pope himself designed in 1932; Traditional Building magazine’s Palladio Awards; Awards for Excellence from the American Institute of Architects, DC; and a 2008 Firm of the Year award presented by AIA|DC and the Washington Architectural Foundation.
