Nature's Way

When they were ready to renovate the master bath of their secluded home in the woods, a  Potomac couple decided to bring the outdoors in. They enlisted Carnemark systems + design, inc. to create a contemporary yet natural-looking space, while also improving its layout. The first step was to install a roomy, two-person shower with an oversized window overlooking the woods. A skylight was added for ambient light, and slate surfaces were chosen for their organic appearance. Maple cabinetry, an etched glass counter and a metal vessel sink enhanced the spare, contemporary décor.
