Launched in 2013 by owner Andrey Veretenov, Nouvel Kitchen & Bath provides cutting-edge cabinetry design at a reasonable cost. The company, an offshoot of a design/build firm also owned by Veretenov, represents European manufacturers in the U.S., bringing both contemporary and classic lines of kitchen and bath furniture to the DC area.
A staff of designers guides clients, conceptualizing their ideas for each space. “We are a small company and every client is important to us,” says Veretenov. “We are in the process of building our reputation. We strive to provide the best possible cabinetry design within the client’s budget.”
Nouvel believes in building reliable relationships between consumers and professionals. “The best result is a happy client whose aesthetic and organizational needs have been met,” Veretenov observes. “We offer exactly the solution the client is looking for, using highly customized products and services that help make the client’s house feel like home. If it reflects their personal taste and lifestyle, it’s bound to keep them happy for years to come.”
Nouvel recently completed a custom-office addition to a Mediterranean-style home with 12-foot ceilings and an open floor plan. The office was narrow and boxy, with limited wall space, so Nouvel created niches in the wall to accommodate custom shelving and make the room feel squarer. “Space shows that we don’t just hang cabinetry on walls,” Veretenov says. “We think about space planning and structural solutions.”
