31st Annual Decorator Show House  @ Ellicott City, Maryland

Local interior designers will transform 26 rooms in White Hall, an early-19th-century, Federal-style mansion in Ellicott City, for this year’s show house. The home, at 4130 Chatham Road, is on the National Register of Historic Places. Proceeds from the event will fund area restoration and revitalization efforts.

Great Falls 2017 Studio Tour @ Great Falls, Virginia

Fifty members of Great Falls Studios—an artists’ collective—will open their studios for self-guided tours. Artists include painters, potters, photographers, jewelry-makers, fiber artists, wood-carvers, sculptors and more; the event is sponsored by the local design/build firm Sun Design, which will hold an open house to showcase a recent kitchen renovation.

The Fall 2017 event will present more than 300 home-improvement and outdoor-living exhibits by professional landscapers and contractors, as well as a juried crafts show displaying the work of more than 100 artisans.
