After earning graduate degrees and working in the fields of clinical social work and business administration, Paula Grace discovered a new passion: interior design. She had taken time off to raise her daughter and decorate her own house when she had the epiphany. “I really enjoyed what I was doing,” she recalls. “Plus, my mom was an interior decorator so the design is in my DNA.” Grace went back to school and studied interior design.
“My background has well-equipped me to marry the art and science of interior design,” she says. Her business acumen helped her develop an efficient process that drives all her projects from start to finish. And her psychology experience helps her understand clients and their needs. “Exceptional interior design must be, by definition, intensely personal and specific to the client,” she explains, adding, “My signature style is ‘modern classic elegance.’ You don’t need to compromise on comfort or functionality to have elegance. With today’s finishes and fabrics, your home can be sophisticated and durable; regal and comfortable; chic and livable.”
Grace’s furniture line, Signature Grace, debuted to rave reviews at the April 2015 High Point Market and has since been featured in print, online and in showrooms.
