When Sandra Meyers was growing up, she loved helping her father with projects around the house—and to this day, she finds the start of a new project exciting. “I learned the essentials for building a home from start to finish,” she recalls. “Now when I begin a project, all I can think about are the challenges and how I’m going to solve them.”
Sandra Meyers Design Studio focuses on residential and light commercial interior design. Meyers brings a trained eye and a thorough knowledge of architecture, scale and proportion to her work, and is adept at blending exquisite fabrics, distinctive furniture and functional floor plans into a cohesive whole. She enhances her clients’ unique vision, bringing it vibrantly to life.
Meyers takes pains to make it clear to clients from the start that she is there to help them achieve the style that is right for them—whether it be contemporary, transitional or traditional. Once clients’ needs have been made clear through extensive discussion, she suggests the changes or additions that will have the greatest impact on the space.
Meyers received a “Ones to Watch” award from the Washington Design Center in 2010. Her work has appeared in Home & Design, The Washington Post and Washingtonian.
