Scott Cooke launched his full-service interior design firm in 2002. Today, renovations comprise a good portion of his projects, which range from kitchens and baths to whole-house renovations.

“SCD works closely with each client to make the project and the client’s lifestyle a seamless fit,” Cooke says. “No matter the style of the project, we aim to capture the clients’ personality. We pay attention to their wants and needs as well as the way they live.”

Cooke and his team strive to create unique interiors for each client. To this end, they source original art whenever the budget allows and specify furniture and accessories that will not be widely seen in other spaces. Comfort is also a key goal in each design. “Busy schedules and long work days leave clients yearning for spaces that are visually pleasing, comfortable and restful,” the designer explains.

Scott Cooke has participated in three designer show houses. He was named “One To Watch” in 2011 by the Washington Design Center and, in 2014, was one of three DC-area designers to be named a “Rising Star” by Fashion Group International.
