Peter Gulick began building exceptional homes in noteworthy communities in 1987, making 2017 the company’s 30th anniversary! Gulick looks at homes with an uncommon eye, believing that form need not be compromised by function. That belief is reflected in his personal involvement in the design of each and every Gulick Group home. Gulick homes embody Peter’s insistence on true craftsmanship and attention to detail, his steadfast pursuit of originality, and his devotion to extraordinary design.

Gulick Group’s time-honed process helps clients design and personalize their homes, and delivers them with quality and precision. “It is important to focus on making impactful, thoughtful decisions that will improve your home in practical, lasting ways,” Gulick advises. “Building a home that is personal to you and will continue to meet your changing needs throughout the years takes thoughtful planning.” He suggests bringing inspirational photographs to your builder to help visualize your needs. “Your ideas become the seeds that help inspire and inform the design,” he explains.

With a staff of 15, the company builds between 10 and 20 homes a year, ranging from 4,500 to more than 13,000 square feet and running $800,000 to more than $2 million.

Gulick Group has earned multiple Monument and Great American Living Awards over the years. The company was named a “Best of Houzz” winner in 2016.

Focus on making impactful, thoughtful decisions that will improve your home in practical, lasting ways. Building a home that is personal to you and will continue to meet your changing needs throughout the years takes thoughtful planning. Whether you plan to live in the home for five years or fifty, the decisions you make in the design phase have lasting effect. Before you meet with a builder, collect inspiration, including pictures from Home & Design (or other print magazines), Houzz, and other sources. Visualize your future home so you can tell your builder about your ideas, however big or small; those ideas become the seeds that help inspire and inform the design.
