Lorna Gross Interior Design is a global, full-service design firm with residential and hospitality specialties in new construction, renovations and furniture planning.

Lorna Gross believes great design is highly individualized and unique, yet also comfortable and livable. A dedicated client advocate, she has a talent for unearthing statement pieces that capture the essence of a homeowner’s personality. “I love the challenge of sourcing rare and unique items that give a space individuality,” she reflects.

Having grown up in Louisiana and New York, Gross is as comfortable at a formal bone-china dinner as she is at a raucous crawfish boil or crab feast. Her father was a contractor and her mother a teacher and seamstress who emphasized hard work and education. Gross infuses a lifetime of world travel and dynamic influences—from sugarcane fields to corporate America—into her design work as well as into her firm’s values and business practices.

The designer holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from University of Maryland’s Smith School and a B.A. in interior design from Marymount University. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum and the Design Trust. Among many awards, Gross is a recipient of ASID’s prestigious Designer of Distinction Award.
