Over two decades, Leslie Anderson and George Klein, Jr., of MSA Architecture + Interiors have designed hundreds of builder and custom homes of various sizes, styles and costs. “This has given us the ability to develop create design solutions to meet the needs of any project,” says Klein. Regardless of budget or client needs, the partners take advantage of the unique features of each location to deliver site-sensitive, energy-efficient designs.

In San Antonio, MSA designed a custom home for a family of six that mediates a sloping site so living spaces flow together and private areas for adults and children are separated. The parents’ bedroom suite, study and balcony take advantage of the views on one level while the children’s bedrooms, game room and loft are organized as a retreat on a different floor. “We work very hard to create a design that reflects the needs, desires and lifestyle of the client,” says Anderson. “We don’t move to the next phase until the client is happy.”

MSA’s projects have earned the firm many accolades, including a 2013 honor from the Greater San Antonio Builder’s Association and 2012 Star Award from the Texas Association of Builders for best architectural design.
