Diana Lombard
Founder and principal designer of her eponymous residential interior design firm, Diana Lombard brings a bold, creative approach to her work. With a diverse background that includes a career in musical theater and extensive travel, she brings a unique perspective to the table.
Before leaving the stage, Lombard uncovered a passion for interior design when she enrolled in a night-time drafting class at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She went on to earn a design degree from FIT, then worked with prominent designers in New York and Houston before founding her boutique firm in 2013.
“I’ve always had an appreciation for art, culture and creative expression,” Lombard reflects. “I liken my early career in musical theater to my design work today. As a singer, I brought notes on a page to life through emotion and intention. Great interior design is similar; I layer design elements to create joy and purpose in a space.”
Lombard specializes in renovations, new construction and high-end interior furniture plans. “I foster collaborative partnerships with clients, builders and vendors to bring a vision to life,” she notes. Her work has been featured in numerous local and national publications; among other honors, Lombard was a 2023 Finalist in HGTV’s Designer of the Year Awards.
Committed to providing a seamless and enjoyable experience, Lombard and her team guide clients through every step of the process, from concept and sourcing to procurement and installation, often acting as project facilitators during construction. “We cater to discerning clients embarking on a big project who seek a design that feels markedly different from the other homes in their neighborhood,” she explains. “They’re delighted by the luxury of having it all handled—from day-to-day project management to one-of-a-kind, custom pieces.”
