After a rewarding first career in design and advertising for the fashion and entertainment industries, Suzanne Manlove decided it was time for a little self-reinvention—and discovered that interior design was the perfect outlet for her talents. “It allowed me to channel both my artistic vision and my management background into creating truly livable homes for inspired, accomplished professionals,” she recalls.

Manlove founded her firm in 2007; it was called Arlington Home Interiors until spring of 2022, when she changed the name to Manlove & Company Interiors. She currently employs a staff of five. “We work with our clients to get to the heart of what they’re passionate about and how they want to use their home,” the designer explains. “We design for our clients—not for ourselves. Our designs reflect their lifestyle, interests and aesthetic tastes.” And having raised two children and multiple pets in an active household, Manlove says, she knows that functionality and livability need to be seamlessly woven into a beautiful design.

She and her staff follow a meticulous 14-step process to manage every detail of a project with integrity, creativity and efficiency. They listen to clients so as to deeply understand what they want and need, and to earn their trust. “We believe luxury interior design is also about luxury service and making the client’s experience enjoyable and hassle-free,” Manlove says.

Manlove & Company Interiors was named best interior designer by Arlington Magazine in 2020 and 2022, and a top vote-getter in 2024.
