Manlove and Company Interiors
Suzanne Manlove made the jump from graphic design to interior design when, searching for something new, she “decided it was time for a little self-reinvention,” she recalls. “Interior design proved to be the perfect outlet, channeling my artistic vision and management background into truly livable homes.” She launched her firm in 2007.
Each project begins with identifying clients’ goals, then building a design and furnishings plan from there. Manlove and her business partner and husband, Mark, work with their team of four to “get to the heart of what our clients are passionate about and how they want to use their home,” she explains. “We’re designing for them, not for us, and our designs reflect their lifestyle, interests and aesthetic tastes.” The firm also strives to make the design experience as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible, adhering to a meticulous 14-step process to manage every detail.
Having raised two children and multiple pets in an active household, Manlove knows a home’s design must support the clients’ lifestyle, with functionality and livability seamlessly woven into a beautiful whole. “We source durable products that will last,” the designer notes. “Clients don’t live in picture-perfect magazine spaces—kids are messy, wine gets spilt and pets sleep on the furniture. But there are great fabrics and finishes that provide longevity as well as the casually elegant aesthetic we strive to bring to each project.”
Formerly Arlington Home Interiors, the firm rebranded in 2022 under the name Manlove and Company Interiors.
