In their clever design of a custom five-bedroom getaway in Bethany Beach, Delaware, architects Donald Lococo and David Moore maximized natural light and sea vistas. The primary bath was no exception. Though the owners’ bedroom—not their bathroom—fronts the ocean, a clever plan lets them enjoy sea views via a strategically placed, floor-to-ceiling pocket door on the bedroom side. Meanwhile, fins installed on the exterior of a side window screen the bath from neighbors. Blue-glass wall tile and a white-painted double vanity echo the home’s coastal habitat. Sand-colored ceramic floor tile blends seamlessly with the bedroom’s wooden flooring.
