On the grounds of a Gibson Island residence, interior designer Erin Paige Pitts worked with landscape architect Jay Graham to create an idyllic outdoor “room” overlooking the Magothy River. A pergola and travertine terrace “give a sense of scale to the outdoor setting,” says Pitts. With travertine pillars and blooming vines, the space conveys a Mediterranean vibe. All-weather Brown Jordan furniture, a Moroccan-inspired lantern and a batik tablecloth beckon guests for al fresco dining.
