This 50-acre escape nestled in Maryland’s Wheaton Regional Park is home to myriad spoils, from formal gardens to a fragrance garden, woodland walk and a conservatory. Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, DC
Marjorie Merriweather Post’s 13-acre estate hosts a plethora of year-round events celebrating all things botanical. During July, experts will lead weekly tours, one focused on the Japanese-style garden and the other on Hillwood’s summer designs.
