The latest home furnishings combine innovation, functionality and chic style

Designed by Jeffrey Bernett for B&B Italia, the Metropolitan 14 armchair boasts a slender profile, tubular-steel base and fabric or leather upholstery. The base comes in black-painted chrome, bronze nickel or bright-brushed, die-cast aluminum. Composed of laser-cut, lacquered-steel sheets, the double-sided Partition bookshelf designed by Joël Escalona for Roche Bobois conveys an airy, streamlined silhouette. The frame is finished in matte black, while the shelves come in a choice of five fade-resistant wood-veneer hues or a lacquered finish.
