Give Your Work The Recognition It Deserves

Enter the NKBA Kitchen & Bath Awards (Baltimore-Washington Chapter)
The Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), in partnership with Home & Design magazine, invites you to enter the annual Kitchen & Bath Design Awards competition. These awards recognize work by the finest kitchen and bath design professionals in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Award-winning projects will appear in Home & Design’s Summer 2023 issue.

Deadline for submissions: November 18, 2022

Entry Submission
The entry submission process is completely online. To begin, click on the link below to access the awards portal. If you already have an Award Force account, you can use your existing login. If you are new to Award Force, please create a free account.

NKBA membership is not a requirement for participation in the Kitchen & Bath Design Awards competition.

  • NKBA Member = $50 per entry
  • Non-member = $100 per entry
  • No fee for Students

Winner and Special Merit honors will be awarded in each category unless judges deem an award is not merited.

  • Kitchen & Bath Entry Categories
  • Small Kitchens (under 18 linear feet of countertop)
  • Medium Kitchens (18.1 to 25 linear feet of countertop)
  • Large Kitchens (more than 25 linear feet of countertop)
  • Outdoor Kitchens
  • Best Student Design (kitchen or bath category)
  • Specialty Rooms (spaces containing elements of kitchen and bath design such as pool houses, mudrooms and entertainment centers with bars and cabinetry)
  • Budget-Friendly Kitchens (under $50k)
  • Small Baths & Powder Rooms (under 50 square feet)
  • Medium Baths (51-71 square feet)
  • Large Baths (over 71 square feet)
  • Budget-Friendly Baths (under $25k)
  • Best Before & After (kitchen or bath category)
