Ana Vivina Flanigan's kitchen design received an Award Of Distinction for Student Citation.

By the Beach



Originally submitted as a final project for a course at Montgomery College, interior design student Ana Vivina Flanigan’s beach house concept kitchen combines bold and neutral colors to create an elegant yet practical space. The setting played a key role in determining the kitchen’s interior. Vinyl flooring was chosen for its durability and low maintenance in a sandy beach environment. Flanigan’s design boasts stainless-steel appliances, an under- counter refrigerator and a stainless-steel farm sink. The large center island serves as the center for both prep work and entertaining.
