A young couple with a growing family turned to Marc Leon of FSI Renovations to help expand their living space. Working with a design plan by Mary-Adams Tartt of M.A. Tartt Interiors, Leon and his team transformed the large, unfinished basement of their clients’ Bethesda Colonial to include a laundry room, guest room and family room—as well as a charming full bath.
The new bathroom combines a marble-topped Empire Rosette Vanity from Restoration Hardware with wallpaper from China Seas through J. Lambeth and ceramic tile wainscoting from Mosaic Tile. Beige mosaic floor tiles complement the Antiqued Coffee finish on the solid oak vanity. A glass shower enclosure keeps the room feeling bright and open. Polished nickel plumbing fixtures from Newport Brass complete the picture.
