DESIGN SCENE The 2015 NARI/COTY Awards At a gala event on March 5, 2016, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Metro DC Chapter announced the 2015 Contractor of the Year (COTY) Awards, given to a wide range of remodeling and custom-building projects in DC, Maryland and Virginia. An independent panel of judges reviewed 112 submissions to select the 2015 winners in 33 categories. Home & Design, a media sponsor, gave one of the winners its Award of Excellence for exceptional design. The following pages list the winners; four outstanding projects are featured beginning on page 166. All award-winning projects can be viewed on the chapter website, narimetrodc.org.
