Salvations Architectural Furnishings, DC designer Michael Hampton took inspiration from the light, elegant profiles of pieces by mid-century French designers such as Jean Royère. “I thought of the collection as jewelry for the home,” Hampton says. “I worked to get the lightness and scale right.”
When designing his collection of coffee, console, and occasional tables forEach table’s metal base comes in a range of finishes. The tops are stone, clear glass or glass that’s been lacquered or painted in designs developed in collaboration with Lenore Winters Studio. Four customizable tables and two benches are available through AmericanEye in the Washington Design Center. The Greek Key Stools is also available as an ottoman with upholstered top.
