Silver Spring-based drapery fabricator Gretchen Everett likens her distinctive hardware designs to pieces of jewelry. Combining smooth acrylic imported from Argentina and English brass that’s polished or plated in nickel, rose-gold copper or a custom finish, the streamlined creations are “pure and clean with some heft,” Everett says.
