Bath Time

New products bring fun and innovation to the bath

Bath Time On the Shelf
Designed by Victor Vasilev for Boffi, the CTline of shelving was inspired by the profiles of big city buildings. The shelves come in a variety of heights and widths; each is sold separately, and the shelves can be hung solo or in combination. The CTline is available in a white finish or with a mirrored front.

On the Wall
The new Monolith wall-hung tank from Geberit features a carrier system that’s secured to the wall and a toilet that’s lifted off the floor. The dual-flush fixture is available in black, white and mint (shown here).

Dazzling Display
The Horizontal Shower from Dornbracht utilizes Ambiance Tuning Technique (ATT) technology to create a spa-like environment. The Horizontal Shower’s six sprays are positioned overhead to stimulate neck, shoulders, back, legs and feet while the bather reclines. An electronic panel regulates temperature and flow rate. Available through Michael Nash Design Build & Homes.;

The Look of Stone
Exclusive to Architectural Ceramics’ Architectural Collections, the Neo Stone series is a marble-like porcelain tile that imparts the look of real stone but is easy to maintain. Available in Luxury White, Royal Marble, Velvet Marble and Wild Copper, as well as in multiple sizes, mosaics and trim.

Solid Surface
Award-winning design team Ludovica+Roberto Palomba unveiled their newest creation, the Palomba Collection for LAUFEN, at the 2012 Milan Furniture Fair this past spring. Pictured here, the free-standing, solid surface tub is non-porous and easy to maintain. 72 inches long and 35 inches high.

Hand Held
The new JADO Stoic Collection of luxury bathroom faucets and accessories puts a premium on performance and water conservation. Featured here, JADO’s personal hand shower set is just one of many models in the collection, which offers a host of handle designs and finishes of polished chrome and brushed or platinum nickel.

Subway Style
Raku by Senio Ceramiche is an elegant, hand-finished rectangular wall tile. Seen here in the traditional subway pattern, the tiles can also be placed vertically for a more contemporary look. Available in six different colors through Mosaic Tile.

At an Angle
The asymmetrically designed HANSALATRAVA bath faucet from Hansa creates a unique, diagonally flowing sheet of water. The faucet contains a small panel that reflects the water temperature through colored, light-emitting diodes. A washbasin designed specifically for use with the faucet is also available.

High Gloss
Best Tile’s newest offering, Jasmine, is a glossy wall and floor collection of glazed porcelain tiles from Spain. Available in cream, beige, gray and jade, this sleek surface looks like sandstone; wall tiles measure nine inches by 16, including a faux mosaic deco in two color blends. Floor tiles are available as both 13-by-13-inch squares and two- by-two-inch mosaics.

Perfect Fit
The Wind vanity from Porcelanosa features an integrated washbasin and open shelving for accessories. It’s made of Krion, a recycled material that can be molded into any shape. Easy to maintain, it has a non-porous, antimicrobial and stain-resistant surface. Available in a range of colors, from Stone White to Red Fire.

Special Edition
Popular designer Jonathan Adler is collaborating with Kohler to create four vivid, special-edition colors for select sinks: Annapolis Navy, Palermo Blue, Greenwich Green (pictured) and Piccadilly Yellow. Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler are available on six of the company’s enameled, cast-iron kitchen and bathroom sinks.

Minimalist Magic
The clean-lined Segmento cabinetry collection by Poggenpohl features wide cabinets paired with sleek surfaces. Available in myriad colors and finishes including Blossom White matte lacquer and Marsh Oak wood lacquer (pictured here).

Scotland Redux
New Ravenna Mosaics’ designer and founder Sara Baldwin harkens back to her Scottish roots with her newest collection, Plaids & Ginghams, which renders in tile the fabric patterns she loved as a child. Pictured here, McIntyre, a plaid design made of honed Carrara, Bianco Antico and Heavenly Cream.

The Right Angle
MTI’s Maddux is a freestanding tub designed for optimal comfort with an angled backrest. Maddux tubs include a discreet integrated overflow slot and toe-tap drain. Available in white or biscuit with a matte or gloss finish, and as a soaking tub or air bath.

Fine Furniture
Xylem’s Islander bath furniture collection brings the spirit of the tropics to your home. Pictured here, the vanity, hutch and mirror can be mixed and matched. The collection is made of CARB-compliant solid birch with a cherry veneer. Finishes include Tropical White or Weathered Dune; vanity tops are black or beige granite.
