Function & Flair Repeat clients who had moved to a retirement community approached CARNEMARK for a kitchen renovation that would meet their changing needs. They wished to combine updated amenities and a sleek, contemporary look while implementing a wheelchair-friendly, universal design.
CARNEMARK installed gray flat-panel cabinetry from SieMatic with thin slate counters and easy-to-reach hardware. A backsplash of orange-painted glass panels pops against the neutral palette.
Along the cooktop wall, a compact speed oven allows for a reduced-height counter, while plenty of low-level drawers and a lower-level freezer offer accessibility. A fold-down cutting board attached to one wall is convenient for wheelchair use. Laminate flooring with flush thresholds makes maneuvering between spaces easy.
