Just steps from the White House, the Occidental may once again be a power dining destination thanks to a swank reinvention by restaurateur Stephen Starr and San Francisco-based designer (and Virginia native) Ken Fulk. With classic fare, icy martinis and tuxedoed waiters, an old-school clubby vibe reigns.
